Mark

Mark T. Eckert, PE

My journey as an engineer began in an unlikely place: my parent’s farm in Wyalusing, Pennsylvania. Growing up on a dairy farm, I was initially fascinated by farming equipment and moving parts that make a farm work. I understood from an early age that farming is a rewarding yet difficult career, so I learned firsthand how important it was to be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair this equipment as my parent’s livelihood depended on being self-sufficient.

After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in engineering, I was able to combine the personal lessons I learned growing up with the professional lessons of my extensive work experience.
